I was told that it would happen some day.
I didn't believe it.
But it did.
On January 3, 2009, I forgot that it was the 4th anniversary of my cancer diagnosis.
Nothing happened on January 3, 2009. I spent the day on the couch trying to recover from a cold.
Funny how life sneaks up on us, unaware.

I think I recognize you from registration in previous years! That just goes to show that we interact with people all the time and have no idea what they might be going through.
